The GW Graham varsity and junior varsity football teams were in Oregon this week, joining 17 other high school teams at the Camp Rilea US Army base.
The Grizzlies went through four days of practices and scrimmages against tough American competition.
In their off time, the stayed in the army barracks and ate in the mess hall, and head coach Laurie Smith described it as 'a great team-building activity.'
This was the second year the Grizzlies have made the trip.
Last year, in the seven-on-seven passing league, GW Graham went 1-5 and looked overwhelmed in the process. This year, they went 4-2, making it to the final before losing to St. Mary's.
Players took part in a lineman challenge and tackled an army obstacle course.
They capped off the camp with games against Orcas Island (Washington State) and Salem Academy (Oregon).
The Grizzlies lost the junior varsity game 12-0 and tied the varsity match 6-6.
