ABC World News reports that al-Qaeda backed al-Shabab extremist has been threatening United Nations Organization (UNO) and International Societies coming forward to help the Somali, who are affected by severe famine because of drought and civil wars and they are starving for single time food, on humanitarian grounds.
The has blocked the vital humanitarian aids through the Capital City Mogadishu on Sunday because it has continued its attack against the United Nations backed Somalia government.
David Muir, reporter of the only American network covering the famine in Somalia, told that United Nations backed government fighter engaged fighting with al Shabab extremist in full swing and advanced closer to Mogadishu city, which help the UN Aid group to provide food, medicines and what not to the famine affected Somali.
The extremists have also refused to operate camps for refugees in the areas which were under their control and millions of people are forced to walk for days, weeks and months in the drought ridden southern part of the city.
