Microsoft Surface RT To Get Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor (Rumor)

The Microsoft Surface Rt tablet has been a lot less popular than Microsoft had hoped. According to a recent report by The Verge, Microsoft is looking to improve the device and this may come in the form of a new more powerful processor.

The Microsoft Surface RT currently uses a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, although Microsoft is looking at replacing the Tegra 3 with a processor from Qualcomm, and it may be their new flagship processor.

The updated Microsoft Surface RT is rumored to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which comes with built in LTE. The updated device is also expected to come with Windows RT 8.1.

As yet we do not have any information on when the update Microsoft Surface RT will be available, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
